How do you identify the truly relevant competitors for my pricing analysis?
Price Intelligence doesn’t compare your prices to the entire market, which would be counterproductive (out-of-market price breakers, irrelevant players). We analyze pricing data from competitors who have significant share of voice on your strategic products: impression rate, overlap rate, actual visibility. Only these players are included in calculating your competitiveness score. You can also manually define a priority competitor watchlist based on your commercial strategy.
Does the system account for temporary price variations (promotions)?
Yes. Price Intelligence includes a 7- or 30-day smoothing system to avoid overreacting to one-time promotions. In verticals with high pricing volatility, the competitiveness score is weighted to avoid interpreting a temporary promotion as a structural disadvantage. You’re still alerted to significant variations, but ad action recommendations are based on stabilized trends.
Can I use Price Intelligence without an external price monitoring solution?
